With their young family getting too big for the House of Dreams, Anne and
Gilbert move to a nearby village. It was a much larger house and suited
the ever growing children and animals. Twelve acres of trees, gardens and
an orchard and even a brook and pond. Just perfect for raising 6 active
children.
Jem is now 7 and 5 more children were born to Anne and Gilbert. Walter, twins Nan and Di, Shirley and Rilla. Each having the same sense of
adventure as Anne. So Anne had much patience for their liveliness,
